Coming off of a successful 2018 and 2019 touring schedule filled with headlining, festival, support, and collaborative appearances throughout the country, Pat Ferguson has announced plans to head back into the studio in December 2019 to record his sophomore solo effort. 

Recorded in Delaware Water Gap, PA, the album is produced by renowned producer and fiddler, Tim Carbone, of Railroad Earth. The record will feature Cary Harmon (Railroad Earth), Jacob Jolliff (Yonder Mountain String Band), Kenny Leiser (WheelHouseJoseph Huber), Tony Marino (Dave Liebman), Elliot Peck (Midnight North / Phil Lesh & the Terrapin Family Band), Kevin Rowe (Buffalo Gospel), Tony Trischka (Bela Fleck‘s banjo instructor), and other renowned pickers and players. 

Pat Ferguson is a nationally recognized guitarist, songwriter, and vocalist, who performs solo or with his band, The Sundown Sound. His sound channels Americana, Bluegrass, and Folk and is deeply influenced by his Upper Mississippi River musical roots. Light of Day / Dark of Night, Pat’s debut solo record, was produced by Adam Greuel (Horseshoes & Hand Grenades) and released on LoHi Records in April 2018 to widespread critical acclaim.
